Gábor Fekete is an internationally renowned, professional foil coach with over 12 years of experience. Before becoming a coach, he fenced for 16 years and participated in international sporting events like the European and World Championships. He ranked 7th at the 1991 Cadet World Championship and ranked 11th at the 1992 Cadet World Championship.

His deep knowledge of fencing is based both on his experiences as an athlete and as a trainer. After working as Head Coach and National Coach for Junior Men's Foil in Hungary, he continued his career as Head Coach in Fighting Fit Fencing in London, UK from 2010. He has been working as Women's Foil Head Coach in the Olympic Fencing Club Bonn in Germany since 2013.

Gábor Fekete puts a huge emphasis on improving the technical and tactical skills of his athletes. He is a coach of heart and soul motivating his athletes continuously to better performances and becoming a better person. He teaches them the winners' mentality which, according to Gábor, is based on hard work, perseverance, discipline, self-confidence, respect and humility. He believes that fencing teaches young people essential skills to make decisions and take responsibility for their own actions.

The pedagogical skills of Gábor Fekete are not only due to his education as a sports teacher. He comes from generations of teachers and school directors.

His athletes participated at European/World Championships each year for the past 12 years.
